Roses Without Thorns was born with the vision to share the beauty of Pop-up 3D cards with the world. The art of Kirigami, especially the intricate designs and 3D effects, fascinated me. Back in 2003, my family and friends started a craft business in Hanoi, Vietnam, and we were among the pioneers in creating and developing this unique form of card art.

In pursuit of my passion for craft and design, I moved to Canada in 2004 at the age of 16. After graduating as a Floral Designer from Algonquin College in Ottawa, I began my journey as a freelance artist. In 2014, I turned my teenage dream into a reality and established Roses Without Thorns as a professional craft business right here in Toronto.

Our mission is to craft exquisite Pop-up 3D cards that embody love and beauty. Each card is meticulously hand-assembled using the ancient technique of Kirigami. I’m proud to say that some of our custom-designed cards are now available at the gift boutiques of Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, ON, and Victoria, BC.
